    any thoughts on this tonka toy?

    seems in my humble opinion that some people haven't been paying attention to whats been hapening these last couple of years Evil or Very Mad All this fancy high tech stuff with paper thin armour wouldn't be much good up in Helmand me thinks. The idea of detecting the enemy before he detects you is all well and good, but against insurgents that blend in with the civies I don't see it as terribly useful to have a UAV chucking-paper-thin armoured-wheely bin.

    I do realise we won't always be up against taliban-esque low tech enemies, but this still seems lire a bad idea to me...

    I saw those on the defence website, they must just be concept ideas. They look s***. And we know FRES won't be anything like that so it must be ideas for something well in the future.
